What is holistic therapy?

Holistic therapy is an approach to healing that considers the entirety of you: body, mind, soul, and beyond. Woven into your physical, psychological, and spiritual self are dimensions of time and space – your culture, environment, ancestral history, gender, sexuality, socioeconomics, unique gifts and so forth across the past, present, and future.

All these parts of you are integral to who you are and have influenced your current reality. Holistic therapists recognize the beauty and strength in your multidimensionality and believe all parts of you are equally worthy of love, respect, and tenderness.

The aim of holistic therapy is to develop loving awareness of each and every part of you, tools to sense what each part is needing, and confidence to make changes that meet those needs.

My holistic practice

I’m a Los Angeles based therapist offering a holistic approach to therapy based on my enduring belief in your inherent worth and unlimited potential. I integrate elements of trauma-informed cognitive, somatic, and yogic approaches to meet you where you’re at in your healing journey. I work with individuals, couples, and families and I’m passionate about supporting humans of all backgrounds and identities. I specialize in supporting creatives, entrepreneurs, highly-sensitive people (HSP), especially Gen-Z, Millennials, and the LGBTQIA+ community.

My philosophy & process

I invite you to show up exactly as you are: messy, scared, hurting, beautiful. My intention is to create a safe and warm space for you to fully land.

Establishing safety within the therapeutic relationship is primary. The therapeutic relationship is a mirror for your relationship with yourself and others. It will serve as a conduit for exploring and modeling life outside of our sessions. I embody my values of non-judgment, humility, compassion, and authenticity and encourage you to get real with me and yourself as we commune with all parts of you.

There may be parts of you that easily arrive in a room and ask to be seen or tended to, while other parts are kept in the shadows, from me or even from yourself. Through compassion and patience, we will build a relationship with these shadowed parts.

Once released, you may notice greater peace or freedom. Many people find that keeping these parts hidden or repressed had been subtly adding to their pain. And contrary to what they once believed, they are not bad or broken for containing these shadowed parts.

It’s my honor to witness your vulnerability as we explore how early childhood wounds, core beliefs, and patterned behavior have influenced your current reality. I will guide you into the infinite wisdom of your body and mind by offering reflections and inquiries that help you access your intuition and reclaim your power. You will gain the insights and tools you need to catalyze sustainable, long-lasting change in your life and return to your radiance.
